Sara Barton, Owner and Director, started into the brewing industry over 20 years ago by taking a Masters degree in Brewing at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh. She spent several years working for Courage mainly in the Berkshire Brewery as a Production Manager. Following an MBA she took to drugs with Eli Lilly, the makers of Prozac. She returned to her first love – beer and started the brewery up in September 1997, the beer flowed in the first days of 1998.
